Perlick "Black Tie"

Perlick is well established within the commercial refrigeration market. They brought our design team on to help envision a bold new product pipeline to enter the residential market.

Our approach was two-fold. First immersion into the world of high end food/beverage/cooking & food preservation best practices. These early insights fueled ideation sessions focused on creating a versatile & immersive fridge interior.

Second, we worked ground up to create an initial series concept “vibes”. Each of these showcased unique design elements and CMF materiality we then developed into a diverse field of design approaches.

Ultimately, our team embraced "Black Tie", creating a stark visual contrast to create a unique new "color blocked" interior. Light tones wrap the airy spaces of the upper fridge and freezer. Dark tones "ground" the lower compartments creating a dramatic backdrop for fan favorite foods.

This suite of products brings the "drama" to high-end kitchens with stunning fit and finish. A product offering that truly stands out amongst the sea of stainless steel!
